Middle School Youth Ministry is a new collaborative program for anyone in grades 6th through 8th. The purpose of this program is to help the young people of our parishes encounter Christ so that they can develop a relationship with him, becoming missionary disciples. To not simply learn about Christ, but to come to know, love, and serve him through engaging and fun activities built around the principles of Prayer, Evangelization, Fellowship, and Service.
Fr. Harrington, the new parochial vicar (assistant priest) at our parishes, has been asked by Fr. Brian to take the lead on running this youth ministry program. He as prior experience teaching at the middle school and high school levels in multiple Catholic schools, running part of a parish religious education program, and various experiences helping with youth ministry.
For the 2024-2025 year, the program will meet one Friday a month from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Generally this is the first Friday of the month, except when it had to be moved to avoid a conflict. The full schedule is available on a printable flier which is in the document list below. Each event is also listed farther down on this page. As each event gets closer, more details will be added. All the events will connect to the 2024-2025 theme "To the Heights."
