The children's Liturgy of the Word is a prayer service that takes place during Mass for younger children. After the Introductory Rites of the Mass, the children process to a nearby room with adult volunteers to celebrate a Liturgy of the Word that is directed to their age level. Prior to the Liturgy of the Eucharist the children return to their families for the remainder of the Mass. 

In our collaborative these special liturgies take place during select 9:30 AM Masses at St. Edward the Confessor Parish.
