It is good to be with you.
I have been called to love, to trust, and to serve you and I have been deeply moved by the goodness of the people of this Archdiocese. You have welcomed me with such generosity of spirit, and I am very grateful.
I look forward to so many things as I begin a new chapter in my priestly life and ministry with you and among them is witnessing the collective good work being done by the Catholic Appeal. Your concern and engagement for the common good and for the mission of the Church is visible through your support.
Your yearly generosity allows us to assist those in need of food and shelter, educate our children, support our future priests, care for the sick, and support the many vibrant ministries of the Church. With your support, those in need will be assisted and feel the power of Christ’s love.
I invite you to join me in prayer and reflection as to how you can support this year’s Catholic Appeal. I also hope you will see this as an opportunity to make a difference and to honor Christ’s charitable gift to us in the Eucharist.
